Raw Noodle Lasagna


1 box lasagna noodles

32oz jar spaghetti sauce

1 1/2 lbs. hamburger, browned and drained

1 pkg. lasagna noodles - uncooked (raw)

12 oz. cottage cheese

6 oz. Monterey jack cheese, shredded

6 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded

Parmesan cheese

2 1/4 c. boiling water


Combine spaghetti sauce and cooked hamburger.  Spray 9x13 (or lasagna) pan with non-stick cooking spray.  Pour 1/4 c. boiling water into pan.  Cover bottom of pan with a lawyer of uncooked lasagna noodles.  Alternate uncooked noodles and sauce mixture, making 3 layers of noodles/sauce/noodles, etc., ending with sauce.  Pour remaining 2 cups of boiling water slowly over all.  Cover with tin foil.  Bake 400 degree oven for 50 minutes on middle rack.  Take out and put on cheeses, starting with cottage cheese, then jack and then cheddar. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.  Bake uncovered an additional 15 minutes.  Let set 20 minutes before cutting.  Easy and delicious.
